Tests of Memory??

Exams nowadays tell you whether you are smart or not instead of giving you something to strive for and achieve. The results of these separate you into groups of those who the government think will achieve good things and/or amount to nothing. Children want to feel they are good at things not feel completely stupid because they couldn't remember what they had revised. That's true though isn't it, exams are a test of memory, the smartest kid could not have the best memory meaning a not so good exam result means he doesn't get into the best university.
Why should we be told what we're worth, does a maths exam really prepare us for the most important test LIFE ?
An exam result should not determine whether we get the job or not, it should not determine our fate. For a candidate with the highest grade may be the laziest worker, therefore it would have been better to hire the individual with the C grades and under. Unfortunately, this is the way society has turned out, judging someone simply on there exam results that extra few minutes could have been the 1 mark needed to get that C grade but no, the time limit on the exam prevented us from the job.
Don't let an exam determine who your going to become. Beat the odds, and prove that you are so much more than that exam result made you, because you are. You are so much more.
