I genuinely cannot wait for her new album Tough Love to be released, i think it is released on the 13th or 14h of October. How exciting! She got quite big with her song Wildest Moments didn't she, i really liked that song.
HELLOO!!! How have you been? I've come to the conclusion that i should probably only try and post when i don't have any work to do, because things could get quite stressful on my part. I really hope you've been well and life's been treating you nicely but if it hasn't....don't fret, be patient.
So i'm up on the whole college hype now, and it feels like i've been there for a longer than i actually have. I must say though, it's going well i'm definitely enjoying it. I think for me, once we got past the whole "Newbies not knowing anything" type phase, we've all got a lot more comfortable which makes it easier.
I thought it'd be a good idea (Or not) to compare what it's been like in college to what it would've been like had i stayed in school for 6th Form.
.....At this very moment, i am watching Gogglebox, if you don't watch it then..well then nothing....
Let us begin by weighing out the Pros of being in college
- I definitely have a lot lot more free time than i would had i been in school, i only have 2 'full' days of college even then i have two hours free.
- Being in college has given me the opportunity to make new friends and socialise. However i will say it's weird seeing old friends whilst with new friends and remembering that they don't know each other.
- I can call teachers by their first names like ''Lesley & Sam" those are my Psychology teachers.
- We have a Costa in the canteen
- I get to have a good ol' lie-in most mornings.
- There's a lot of older people who have jobs and can get discounts at places, like McDonalds
- I can go on my phone most of the time, and not be told to put it away.
I'm not sure if i've said everything, but that's all i remember
The Cons of being in college:
- I don 't feel as motivated to do work however if i stayed in school i would be forced to do the work!!
- Having so much free time means i spend a little too much time not doing work
- I spend too much money on food
- I have a lack of clothing, i never realised how easy a uniform was
- Some people are a little bit closed off, and aren't willing to make the effort to like socialise.
- The lessons are approx 1hr 30mins long, although somtimes we finish a few minutes earlier.
- I can't read my handwriting.
HAHA, that was fun.
...Now i'm watching The X Factor, and i think them making the age lower was a silly thing to do...
Having said all the things i did, i think making that decision depends on what you think is best for you. Obviously college isn't going to be the best for some people, and i wanted to get out of that comfortable place that i was in; which is why i went to college!
I don't know whether this information has benefited you or not, but i've told you now.(There's a song for that) Sam Smith - I've Told You Now.
I hope you have an amazing weekend, enjoy it.
I wish you the best,
Naomie
