"But I used to have it all but now, I'm slipping and I'm falling down them days seem so close but somehow they've gone so far away" I Used To Have It All - Maverick Sabre
Aww, Maverick Sabre is just so cute i love him!! His voice though!!! It's just beautiful.
Hello dearest friends :D How have you been? Anything exciting? (This was supposed to go up yesterday but i forgot. sorry)
Here i have a review (not that i'm any good at them) for The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson.
Okay so this book is an alright book, and again Laurie Halse Anderson has a way with the way she writes.
The Impossible Memory of Knife is about a girl (Haley Kincaid) and her life being somewhat back to normal. Haley is used to her life on the road moving around from place to place because her father (An Ex Veteran) is suffering from PTSD struggled to get settled down. This lead to him becoming a trucker, but finally they decide to settle down for Hayley's final year at school.
So the book is basically about Hayleys final year at school, and the struggles that come with it. It's hard for her. but it does give an insight into what life could be like for people in Hayleys.
My opinion, the book is good i mean it's really good yeah but for me personally i think was waiting for that something exciting to happen, like that massive part of the book that made me remember it. I definitely love Laurie Halse Andersons writing style and it has really made me want to read the rest of her books, this being the second one of her books i have read.
I would absolutely recommend this book, because it's good book to be like "Yeah i've read that" because i feel it's just one of those books.
So the next book review i might do is... The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle (Have i done this one? I feel like in my head i have...Oh Well)
Have a good weekend, it's Friday tomorrow. Wohoo
All The Best
Naomie
