13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher

Okay so normally i would put a song lyric here but today i'm just going to put a song because the song has such a brilliant message to it that i think you should juts listen to the song.
Crooked Smile - J.Cole

Hello, how are you today? I hope you are well and had a good week although the week isn't over. It nearly is though *Huzzah*

So basically i read 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, and it was an alright book. Unfortunately if you do want to read the book, but want it all to be a surprise then don't continue reading this post because i'm not good at you know summarising or whatever so i may reveal bits that are good parts and shouldn't be revealed until read (Does that make any sense)

DO NOT READ ONWARDS, I HAVE NO CONTROL!!!!
13 Reasons Why is basically about a girl called Hannah Baker, who (and this is pretty main news anyway) commits suicide. After, well before she died she recorded a tape with thirteen reasons why she decided to commit suicide, and this tape gets sent round to the thirteen people in the order however you have to pass it on to the next person on the list as she has someone making sure this happens if not, she has another copy that she threatens to release. That is relevant because there are some reasons that the people on there would rather not have everyone know.
There's also a guy called Clay on the list, but he objects to even being on there bur slowly he comes to realise that there was so much more to Hannah, and he should've taken the chance while he had it which i think is sweet.

Okay so, i thought the book was good however it wasn't as good as i was expecting you know, i thought it would be more about her suicide and how she really felt you know leading up to it.
Having said that, it was a great book one of those you never want to put down (I say that about every book) and whenever i had a spare moment i was straight to the book.

I love how clay is so confused at all of it and how he knows he shouldn't be on the list but he is. I love how he goes to all of the places on the map just to feel closer to Hannah, knowing that she is already dead. Another thing i feel makes the book really good/interesting is Hannah and Clay never got the chance to be together, even though they knew how they felt towards each other they never actually perused their feelings and think that really shows that you know although my dad always used to tell me we had all the time in the world, we actually don't and if you want things to happen you've got to act on what you feel is best.

I don't really know what more to say about the book, so if you do want to know anything more (Probably not) do ask.
This is how most of my days were spent

Movie Time?

Actually i might do this in another post, i know it can get a little bit tedious reading a lot.

Thank you for reading Part 1, do feel free to read Part 2
All the best,
Naomie
