Thoughts on Marriage

"Call all the ladies out They’re in their finery A hundred jewels on throats A hundred jewels between teeth Now bring my boys in Their skin in craters like the moon The moon we love like a brother, while he glows through the room" Lorde - Team
This song could have turned into another Royals dilemma where it is over played on the radio, but i haven't  actually heard it that many times on the radio or not that i have heard. If it has then i'm glad i haven't heard it so many times.

Hello dearest friends, it's been a long time coming huh? but i am back. I hope you have been well! I've been alright, i had the flu but i'm alright now thanks. I have a few book reviews lined up for you, when i get time and some other stuff.

So i got sent this picture and it was of Maisie Williams (from Game Of Thrones) saying she would feel "Trapped" if she ever got marries and that it is pointless. Along with this picture, i got asked what i thought on the subject.

I don't know if i have talked about this before, but it's quite a touchy subject i think. Certainly in my group of friends we all don't really want to get married, we sort of like blow the subject off and the thought one of us getting married makes us burst into laughter. That doesn't speak for all my friends though, i do have friends who can't wait to get married and are so so excited for the day of their wedding day.

Me: I. Well i'm just gonna lay down my cards flat for ya hear.
The thought of marriage kinda scares me, i would love to get married i think i just don't want to if that makes sense.
Growing up i haven't been around very many healthy relationships which is probably why i don't want to get married. For me, if i get married i only want to get married once so, i don't want to get married get divorced then get married again. Having said that i'm not hating against separated couples or people who have had thee parents separate because it probably just wasn't supposed to be.

I think it's even harder being a young person in our society as well because in pop culture we are forever being informed when the latest celebrity couple has just got a divorce or something, which is hard.

I don't think Maisie Williams should get hated on for the comment she made though, because she is simply speaking for the younger generation who probably won't ever get their voices heard.

To summarise, i think marriage is good yeah. But personally i fear getting married in case i get a divorce because i don't really want a divorce.
Have a really good weekend, i apologise for being M.I.A but i'm back now.
All the best.
Naomie
